A Bangle tute

I've seen a lot of tutorials on various cuffs, bangle or bracelets- but they all seem to include either something specialised that i cannot find in a regular shop or just take too long to make. Now i know I'm not sitting on a monopoly here, but i had a little brain burst! I needed something i could make in minutes, that didn't necessarily need drying time and with a little luck would suit any outfit, without "over-accessorising".

Meet The Bangle Revolution
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You will need:

  • 1 inch x 20inch strip of fabric, trim, scrap or bias tape
  • 75mm craft metal ring (pref. welded together) - mine were 70cents each at my local Spotlight.
 1. wrap the fabric strip around the metal ring ensuring you overlap the starting point and pull firm when necessary.

2. continue this the entire legth around.

3. Once you return to the starting point, either continue overlapping until you have used all your strip or snip after two loops around the starting point.

4. To secure the end you can hot glue/ fabric glue and hold in place until dry with a peg or alternatively you can secure with a firm bow with ribbon or lace- this also adds a cute embellishment.

5. Accessorize as you wish, with bows, beads, flowers or lace.

And TA-DAAA!!!
the simplest quickest awesomest bangle you could ever make, no prior crafting skills necessary!

Don't Forget to Link-up for our first follow-me Wednesday linky party!

p.s. this fulfills my tutorial a week for the week, but keep an eye open i see something brewing in my drafts :)
